Spring is here!

A SURE SIGN OF WARM WEATHER -- the community ice rink came down this past weekend.  Brandon Lions met to get the boards removed and to get Lions Park in order for the warm months.  Water will be turned on soon and the bathrooms available to groups using the park and its facilities.  The ice rink has been part of community for decades with the Brandon Lions maintaining it since the 1970’s.  Parts of the rink are in need of some major repairs and improvements.  Recently a campaign was started to raise funds for those repairs and improvements.  A special thanks to the Brandon Fire Department , Millerville Fire Department, and Moe-Urness Lund for their generous contributions.  Anyone wishing to make a contribution can do so by making donations payable to the Brandon Lions and mailing to PO Box 187 Brandon MN 56315.
